I am Kevin Schultz Batista (Kevyn Schultz), a Brazilian born in Cacoal (Rondônia) and currently residing in Porto Velho (Rondônia). I come from a musical family; my parents were members of the regionally renowned *Grupo Musisom*, and my uncle—pianist Edilson Schultz—was my first major mentor and teacher, introducing me to the piano at age six through sheet music studies and recitals. My artistic journey began in my teens with recording covers for the internet and solidified in 2019, when I began dedicating myself intensely to music production and audio engineering after meeting producer Paulo Anhaia. I am largely self-taught, having learned through courses, YouTube videos, and books on audio and music production. My influences range from gospel and choral music—such as Aline Barros, Diante do Trono, Prisma Brasil, and Grupo Integração—to artists like Elton John, the Bee Gees, Billy Joel, Celine Dion, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Elis Regina, Cazuza, and Ney Matogrosso, among others. I work in production, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering, specializing in productions that utilize virtual instruments (MIDI). I am also an independent artist, blending styles such as Celtic folk, chamber folk, folktronica, gospel, and country.
